Great Bay Communications was founded in 1986 to serve cabling needs in the health care industry.  Since our inception, we have not wavered from the goal of competency and customer care.  Our founder  Bill Gowell kept the business growing and stable in Rochester, New Hampshire, until he recruited Mark Trager to partner with him and eventually become full owner.  Many of the original customers of Great Bay are still with us today.  Our mission statement reflects Great Bay's dedication to the founding principles.

Our main office is located at 591 Middle Street in Portsmouth, New Hampshire.  Our advertising is tasteful and low-key, reflecting the discriminating care that our family of customers have been used to receiving.  We are confident in our abilities to serve large and small organizations.  In fact, we take pride in the concept that no job is too small for us.  Contributing to the goals of our customers is our primary concern.

To that end, Great Bay Communications is divided into two divisions, Structured Wiring and Health Care Systems.  While there are allowances for crossover in the divisions, our aim is to offer the best competencies available for specific projects.
